Advancements in Memoir Management

Memoir management Most of us would like to crisply recall both big and small events in our lives. We would like to vividly remember our happy moments and review our troubled times with insight and perspective. We'd like to recollect life's lessons learned so we might avoid repeating our mistakes and re-fighting battles already won (or lost). We'd also like to quickly access day-to-day details that could make life a little easier, such as:

"What do I pack for a three day business trip?"

"On what day in October does it usually freeze for the first time?"

"What are the names of our neighbor's children?"

Benjamin Franklin and Winston Churchill recorded their daily activities, interactions, observations, ideas and philosophy in their journals. They noted the events of their lives and captured "lessons learned". To later find specific memoirs they had to remember "what & when" in order to narrow their search down to a specific year's journal volumes.

For everyone, including Franklin and Churchill, memories fade with time. Trying to locate journal information recorded a month, a year, or 50 years earlier greatly limits the access to the wealth of insight and perspective contained in a journal.

Now &Then overcomes this accessibility challenge. It is a next-generation personal journal & diary that finds and presents memoirs in ways that encourage discovery and perspective. Because it uses context-aware search and knowledge management to understand you and your world, Now & Then finds and graphically presents precisely the information you seek―assembled from a lifetime of your journal entries.
